Joseph Albert Alberdingk Thijm had a variety of different hairstyles during his lifetime. He reached fame as an excellent poet, writer, university teacher, politician and literary critic. Nevertheless, the Dutch writer and poet was especially known for his beautiful appearances and his delightful character. Before his death at age 69 he was repeatedly talked about in magazines and tabloids because of his fine looks.
